Educational Background and Experience: I received my bachelors degree in Accounting from Washburn University in Topeka Kansas. After working for Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas for a short time, I decided to return to college and pursue education. I received my mathematics teaching certificate from Kansas Newman College. I then spent the next 8 years teaching and coaching at the high school level. During that time, I again returned to school at Wichita State University and received my Master Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. In 2003, I moved to my hometown Beloit, Kansas and began my career as a college level mathematics instructor for North Central Kansas Technical College. Personal background: I have been married for 15 years and have two kids, Brittany 10 and Brody 2. My daughter and I ride horses and compete in barrel racing competitions and rodeos around the State of Kansas. As seen in the photo she is very successful and has won many awards. My son is not quite ready to compete, but he loves to ride his pony! We also raise registered dogs and as you can tell I love animals and of course my kids.
