Intermediate Algebra is an introductory college level, 3 credit hour course, that upon completion with a grade of C or better will allow a student admission into a College Algebra course at this or any other institution.  Communication will take place via this web-site as well as e-mail. 

Technological Information:  All documents sent via e-mail should be sent in .doc or .xls format.  Please name all documents with the following format: lastnameproject1.doc. 

We will use www.quizplace.com for all tests and quizzes.  You will be given a user name and password to be used throughout the course.  I will also use this site to provide practice/reviews for unit exams.  Passwords will be communicated to you via private e-mail. 

We will utilize the web page http://college.hmco.com/eduspace/This technology is provided to us by Houghton Mifflin Company, our textbook manufacturer to provide tutorials for this course. 

Students will need to have Windows Media Player 7.0 of higher on their computer in order to view recorded examples provided by the instructor.  You may download the needed software free at www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/ .
