Required Resources:

A CD-ROM Student Tutorial, which accompanies the textbook, is a computer-based instructional program that provides the student support in mastery of math objectives.

We will use www.quizplace.com for all tests and quizzes.  You will be given a user name and password to be used throughout the course.  I will also use this site to provide practice/reviews for unit exams.  Passwords will be communicated to you via private e-mail. 

Students will need to have Windows Media Player 7.0 of higher on their computer in order to view recorded examples provided by the instructor.  You may download the needed software free at www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/ .

We will utilize the web page http://college.hmco.com/eduspace/.  This page is provided to us by Houghton Mifflin Company, our textbook manufacturer to serve as a tutorial for this course. 

There are many math tutorial web-sites.  I would recommend www.purplemath.com as a good site for additional assistance and descriptions of processes.  The site allows you to select by topic.  This might be a good source of additional information for those that are struggling or just want more practice and/or information.

A student list of e-mail addresses will be provided for the purpose of communication among students.
